Thomas Aquinas' Commentary on the Psalms

Nota Bene: All the material here, and much more, is now found as well at the site for the AQUINAS TRANSLATION PROJECT: http://www.niagara.edu/~loughlin/Translation.html. This page is maintained merely so that you don't find yourself in a dead end.

And you can visit my basic home page: www.vaxxine.com/hyoomik, or my page on Thomas Aquinas.

Divi Thomae Aquinatis Doctoris Angelici in Psalmis Davidis Expositio

The following links will contain the Latin Text with an English Translation. The Latin text is taken from an edition published in Venice in 1775, printed by Simon Occhi.

The commentary such as it stands concerns psalms 1 to 51. Needless to say, this will be an ongoing work, and in this I am encouraged by my esteemed colleague Steve Loughlin. Should anyone be interested in translating a psalm and commentary, or in checking translations, please contact me (Hugh McDonald)[email protected] or Steve Loughlin [email protected].
